1. Surfers Paradise

As the name suggests, it’s a surfer paradise consist of big waves, white sand, and ample water activities from kite surfing to iron man competitions. It is also the center stage for the 2018 Commonwealth games.

2. Seaworld

It’s a fun place to bring the kids and kid at heart. One of the center attraction is Henry the young polar bear. There’s plenty of shows such as the dolphin show, sea lion detective show and much more.

3. Warner Brothers Movie World

This is Australia’s answer to Disneyworld. You can have a meet and greet with batman and robin, take a selfie with the looney toons cast and ride the daring and petrifying rides.

4. Wet N’ Wild

A great water theme park to visit. It has lots of extreme water slides. The water is heated so you can enjoy even in the winter season. It is also owned by Roadshow village so you can get a three pack deal with Movieworld & SeaWorld.

5. Currumbin Zoo

It’s a relaxing place to meet and greet Australia’s diversified animals. You can have a picture with a koala or feed a kangaroo. It has a wide variety of mammals and reptiles, some of which can only be found on this continent.

6. Broadwater Park

This is a free park where everyone is welcome. There’s the giant pillow where you can jump and practice you hidden trampoline skill, rock pools for the kids to splash and play and the beautiful park to rest and relax while enjoying the beautiful view across the marina.

7. Broadbeach Water

I was a bit reluctant to include this as it’s my local and I don’t want people to crowd it, but sharing is caring. Like Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach has gorgeous sand, great waves, and lovely parks. It also has a great nightlife for fine dining and clubbing hotspots. Celebrities such as Justin Bieber, One Direction, and Snoop Dogg has been spotted here.

8. Mt. Tamborine

The Gold Coast boasts great inland attractions. Enjoy a day out to Mt Tamborine, 45 mins inland drive, you can go wine tasting, visit waterfalls and the Gallery walk. Just remember to wear sensible walking shoes if you intend to do a nature walk.

There are heaps more to see and do in the Gold Coast; transportation is also plenty of the bus, trams, and taxi easy and reliable to use.
