The atmosphere of the hostel is very relaxed and is conducive to kicking back, feeling like home and being open to new people and experiences. Kind and helpful staff, nice atmosphere, clean room, and the location is very close to Nagoya castle. The dormitory is clean and spacious, with a personal kitchen, toilet, shower room and lockers. The bath is nice too, and they had a fantastic garden which you walk through to go to the bathroom. Free tea and water are available. The Japanese breakfast is delicious and very filling, but the best part is that they “rent” bicycles for FREE.  Staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. A very wonderful oasis, truly one of the best hostels in Nagoya, Japan!

FAMOUS FOR: Nice hostel! They had sessions for calligraphy, origami, painting and cooking lessons during the night, which is a nice way to meet people and learn the culture! A great hostel and pick up service from the station is a great touch, considering the location is quite a walk. Close to convenience stores and easy walking distance from the station. The place is clean and has great facilities (kitchen and bathrooms). The deluxe dorms almost felt like private rooms with the curtains. Dorms have lockers and plenty space for rucksacks. The price is really good for this hostel. The hostel has a low-cost trip so sightseeing Mt. Fuji that is recommendable. Remarkable staff, super friendly and helpful.  Staff, facilities, cost, location – all great. K’s House Mt. Fuji, definitely one of the best hostels in Mount Fuji, Japan!

FAMOUS FOR: Traditional Japanese house with the traditional living room. A fantastic little hostel with friendly staff who can speak some English. Location is good – a few minutes walk from Fujinomiya train station and bus terminal. All very clean. Air-con. Living room, kitchen, shower, hair dryer and washing machine. Every bed has a little curtain around, a reading light  wi-fi works great. The dorm itself is super clean, and the wooden bed doesn’t squeak with minor movements. Owners are very very nice and welcoming, always willing to help and recommend great places to go in and outside the area. Guesthouse Tokiwa, definitely one of the best hostels in Mount Fuji, Japan.

One of only a few budget options in Naha but a great one! Good location, a short walk from Asahibashi station. The location of this capsule hostel is brilliant; it’s within walking distance to Kokusai street, Chinese gardens, Naha Bus terminal and if you fancy it, Naminoue beach. Many convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The host is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Really good value for money and truly one of the best hostels in Okinawa, Japan.
